This Privacy Policy describes how Pronounce Word ("we", "our", or "the App") collects, uses, and protects your information. By using the App, you agree to the practices described below.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Microphone & Speech Data

The App uses your device's microphone and on-device speech recognition to match spoken words with in-game content. Speech recognition is performed locally on your device using the Vosk library. Audio data is not recorded, stored, or transmitted to any server.

1.2 Leaderboard Data

If you choose to participate in the leaderboard, the following information is stored on our servers (Google Firebase Firestore):

• Player name (chosen by you during onboarding)
• Game score
• Selected language
• A randomly generated player identifier (UUID)

We do not collect your real name, email address, phone number, or any other personally identifiable information.

1.3 Local Preferences

The App stores your settings (language preference, music settings, best score) locally on your device. This data is not transmitted externally.

2. Third-Party Services

2.1 Google AdMob

The App displays advertisements provided by Google AdMob. AdMob may collect and use data in accordance with Google's Privacy Policy. This may include:

• Device identifiers (advertising ID)
• IP address
• General location (country/region)
• App usage data for ad personalization

On iOS, the App requests your consent via the App Tracking Transparency framework before enabling personalized ads.

2.2 Google Firebase

The App uses Firebase Firestore to store leaderboard data. Firebase may collect basic analytics data in accordance with Firebase's Privacy Policy.

3. Children's Privacy

The App is not specifically directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal data through the App, please contact us so we can delete it.

4. Data Retention

• Speech data: Not stored. Processed in real-time on-device and immediately discarded.
• Leaderboard data: Retained as long as the leaderboard feature is active. Daily leaderboard entries are automatically cleared each day.
• Local preferences: Stored on your device until you uninstall the App or clear its data.

5. Data Security

We use commercially reasonable measures to protect the limited data we handle. Leaderboard data is stored in Google Firebase, which provides industry-standard security measures. However, no method of electronic storage is 100% secure.

6. Your Rights

You can:

• Choose not to participate in the leaderboard
• Reset your advertising identifier through your device settings
• Opt out of personalized ads through your device settings
• Uninstall the App to remove all locally stored data

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated revision date.
